What is the argument against the 360 not being innovative?
Are you going to tell me that online gaming and the implications for it on the console market aren't innovative? Not to mention what key games such as Halo, Gears, Viva Pinata and others, have done for their respective genres.
Natal isn't innovative but the "wand" is? Grow up, all three consoles bring innovation and fresh takes on proved concepts to the table. Stop being such haters.
Regardless of if you own a PS3 or a 360 (or like me, both) your going to get amazing looking games. It isn't like last gen when there was a really big difference in what the consoles could do visually, it was about the gameplay.
At the end of the day, Halo3/ODST may not look as great as KZ2, but myself and millions of others are still playing Halo for a reason. For example, KZ2 looks better than Halo:CE, but, are you honestly going to argue that KZ2 is the better game?

The game doesn't include the other two books although they have said it's something they are thinking about. You should listen to the Rebel FM podcast from this past week as they talk about it for a moment. They are going to go into more detail next week when the embargo is lifted.
I personally thought that the ad campaign for Halo3 was great, including the 7-11 and Mountain Dew deals. It's what they should have been doing; it's a business that needs to make money.
I think it's a great idea that Sony is doing this. I just find it interesting that many people in the SDF, relentlessly bashed MS for doing this. Does the same now apply, or is now acceptable?
Hypocrisy at it's finest.
I didn't bring GOW3 up; so why the emotional tirade? Graphics don't make a game, neither does characters on screen or the "many more reasons" that you allude to. GOW3 will be epic and awesome and all of that; at least based on it's past. However, how does that stop DI from being a great game as well?
You talk about how GOW3's story is great and that(and some literary purists) say that DI bastardizes the epic poem of it's name sake. If that is the case, than can it not ...
“MAG is the greatest multiplayer shooter I know.”
Scott Rudi, MAG producer Zipper interactive
We can play the example game all day if you wish.
OT:
Bayonetta was amazing-seems to have the best gameplay of the three-and GOW3 and DI are going to be great as well. I just can't wait to hear all the claims of "journalism bias" when certain people find out that DI is actually a really good game. The amount of crow that will be eaten that day wi...
@Black,
Looking at these pics and the video that has been shown, yes KZ2 has been surpassed. If you don't agree then don't. I'm not here to change minds, I'll let Bungie do that. I know that Halo hating is the new world gaming world sport but it's stupid and childish. Gamers nowadays are spoiled and hate for no reason. I don't care. I'll be gaming and enjoying myself while most of you PS3 fanboys stay on n4g all day complaining.
That's my birthday! YES! What an awesome way to celebrate another year of life! Family, food, friends and God of War III.
PS3 has some beautiful games on the market and forth coming. However, the 360 is right there with it. I've yet to see anything on my PS3 that made me think "darn, I wish my 360 could do that".
This is just my opinion, but so far I think that Reach is the game to beat visually. With months to go and more polish in bound, Bungie and MS-along with Bioware and others-have proven that the 360 is no slouch when it comes to visuals. It's interesting to see people discount game...
Than most (especially PS3 fanboys) would like for us to believe. Technobuffalo has an ongoing series where they talk about just this but these videos particularly are of note.

You rant about immaturity and prepubescent teens but then turn around and post something like that and expect to be taken seriously? Surely your joking because maturity seems to be an enemy of yours.
As to your attempt at correcting me, your mistaken. The Dreamcast was the first one to bring online to consoles successfully. Interestingly enough Peter Moore was over at Sega at the time and some believe (as do I) that he played a big role in online being a major part of the origin...
I can't say that he is wrong for the simple fact that the 360 comes with a headset, the PS3 doesn't. It isn't an issue of "kids and teenagers", it's an issue of availability and most PS3 owners either don't have a headset or don't use it.
Online was an afterthought to Sony (and Nintendo), one of several "back tracks" that Sony had to do. For example the sixaxis itself is a direct result of trying to be like the Wii. Rumble is another. It went from "old te...
The question is, do you even know what they mean?
KZ2 is being compared to a game that came out years before, has better online with a far superior developer support and way more players. Don't get me wrong, I purchased my PS3 for KZ2 but KZ2 is no Halo. They are two totally different games that happen to be in the same genre. It's just that one can't compete with the other.
Time will tell, but, the proper comparison should be between KZ2 and Reach. For all intents a...
Here you have old pics of a game that is 8 months away and your talking about a "confirmation" of KZ2 looking better?
KZ2 looked good but it's because of the art direction, that's it. Simply put, there wasn't an FPS at the time (or now really) that had such a dark, ominous tone to it. I can't speak for Reach because like you, I don't know that much about it. However, what I can say is that all the Halo games have technically/graphically been power houses. Most of you se...
Unless I'm mistaken, none of us have played the final build of either game in question so you don't know how much they deviate from their influences. If your going to say "well, I've played the demo so I know" then to you I simply say; it's a demo. Look how much we've learned about GOW3 that has changed since the demo.
It's all about preference in the end, and for me, I want Dante's more. Sure I'll get GOW3 but I prefer the subject matter, art style and the speed and fl...
That game that came out a few years ago that millions still play everyday? that game?
People complain about anything nowadays don't they?
OT: It's still a day one grab for me as was Bayonetta and the one I want the most of the three H & S's Dante's (locked at 60fps). Either way it's a win win for gamers; unless of course I'm supposed to believe that Dante's looks "last gen" according to joystiq...even though the guy who wrote that managed the PS3 fanboy...

That's how I feel about most of the PS3 exclusives list. Oh well, there are a bunch I'm getting for all three so win win for me.
COUGH* COUGH* Highest rated games on PS3 cough that are so highly rated the PS3 community itself doesn't support them the way they "should be"* cough*
If you don't support them your biased, money hats from MS etc.,
If you do, your wise and or have "seen the light" because we all know that only Sony cares about gamers, lol. What a tool.
How is no HDMI at launch an example of not being innovative? The PS3 didn't have rumble (remember it was called "old tech") but it was added after the fact. Not only that but you have HDMI...with component cables, so what good is it if you can't afford it? What about backwards compat being removed? Is that innovation as well?
How is DVD9 producing "horrible" games? So every great game on 360/Wii isn't worth a darn because it's not Blu-ray?
Natal i...
